The spring season runs from mid/late April through mid-June. Playoffs for AA, AAA, Majors finishing up after the regulator season, and typically finish between June 15-25th.
Summer
Newton Little League offers programs for all levels in the summer. For the players 9 through 12, Newton Little League participates in SYBL travel & competitive league. For ages 5-8, Newton Little League offers intramural programs with leagues and teams grouped by age. One division is for 5 & 6 year olds, a second division is for 7 & 8 year olds.
Newton South East also runs a summer sandlot league for players/families that may want a more recreational program.
Fall
NLL offers a competitive Fall baseball program for kids in the Minors and Majors divisions. Opponents include other Newton leagues as well as Weston, Needham, and other nearby communities. Games begin in early Sept and are played twice a week, one game on Sun and one game during the week. The season lasts about seven weeks.
During Sept, the Farm schedule includes a Sun afternoon game and one mid-week game. During Oct, the shortened daylight hours only allow for Sun afternoon games. Tee Ball games are played every Sun afternoon from mid Sept to late Oct.
Fall baseball eligibility is based on player's league age for the upcoming Spring season. Registration information is typically posted on our website starting in early July.
